This is 3 Kms from Kurunegere . This is township established by our Udayavar when he was doing Digvijayam of Karnataka. The Vigraham of Lord Srinivasa was done Prathistai by Ramanuja himself. Main person instrumental in setting up this township was Ananthalvan who was doing Pushpa Kainkaryam to Lord Srinivasar as per instruction of of Bhagavath Ramanuja. The Moorthy is very small and cute. First as you enter the village you will find a kalyani which is similar to Melkote one. Then on the Banks you will kind our VayuPutran. It is beautiful moorthy. Then you walk 200 Meters you will reach the Srinivasa perumal koil of Ramanujapuram. Then Main Gopuram which was majestically standing once upoun a time is there ( Now it is in ruins [ Pic is the testimony] Then next to it a madapilli ( But now only a stone slab which was used to mix Ogre( I mean Pulliogere etc) is there.  Then we enter the Temple On the left side you will find our beloved Nam Alwar and besides him our Lord Ramanuja is there. then You will find our Sweet cute Srinivasar is there, There is no Thayar Sannidhi since he is having his Thayar in the Vrashasthalam. In two upper hand he is holding Shanku and Chakra , then there is Abhaya hastham and Kati hastham. It is said During Dhannur masa every year the Malai mariyadai comes from Thirupathi  due to Ananthalvan and Bhagavath Ramanuja The tradition is continuing till now , but due to bad shape of temple and due to financial constrains the Ustavam is stopped and i am sure with the support of Government and and generous Sri Vaishnava's throughout the world .   It is said  previously 200 Brahmin family used to live, a well planned township was there with well connected Water Supply system. every house used to connected by two canals for water supply. One canal was madi / Acharam ( for cooking and Pooja etc) water and and one used to be regular water.  All the family have migrated to greener pasture and they have forgotten their roots , one of the famous Food industries owner is from this village. It is high time they do something for their village. God is great there is one Brahmin family in village and he is the Aradhakar of the temple who is 84 years and very young at heart. He is Sri K V Narayana Iyengar. Due to him perumal is getting his Pooja done .
