Madhyarangam is the One of the three Rangam situated in between the Adhi Rangam and Anthima Rangam. The Adhi Rangam is Srirangapatana , Madhya Rangam is this and it is situated near Shivanasumdram and Anthima Rangam is Srirangam. It is very close to Sathyagalam say 5 Kms. The Sthala Puranam is awaited but i will like you to have the darshan of this beautiful temple. It is said first it was an island and you should go in Dhoni a type of boat . It is very close to Kabini Reservoir and two beautiful falls are there, it is very picturesqueue spot.  The falls are known as Gagan Chukki and Bhari Chukki Then Once you reach Sathyagalam Hand post bus stop please turn to left hand side travel 5 Kms and a small Motai Gopuram welcomes you. Then Our Sridhar Bhattar greets you. Then first you enter the temple , You will find Sannidhi for Takshan, Ramujar, Swami Desikan, Nam Alwar, Other Alwar, Vayu Puttran, And many more small Sannidhi. Then you enter the sacred Santorum . You will find our Lord Ranganatha with Cauvery Matha sitting in the leg side. A beautiful Saligrama shilla Moorthy, Then As usual Uthsavar with Sri and Bhoo Devi, Santhana  Krishnan, Chakrath Alwar. etc.  then you come out and go to Ranganayaki Thayar Sannidhi which is our side and separate. You will find your Karuna Matha sitting majestically . Since we did not get the Sthala Purana i cannot go into details.. Please make a visit t on any Vaikunta Ekadasi Day, They do a special Venai Alankaram using 75 Kgs, of butter and it understood Takshan was granted moksham. on this day here.

The Temple Timings are Daily Morning 8.00 Am to 12.00 Pm and Evening 5.30 Pm to 8.30 Pm.
